Maintenance Service Coordinator

Planner, Organiser and Problem Solver
We are looking for a maintenance service coordinator with exceptional attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills to become an integral part of our driven and successful team.
You will be working closely with our directors, in our small office in Chelmsford, to help streamline our maintenance administration processes to deliver high quality customer service to our commercial client base. You will have sole responsibility for a portfolio of clients, working under minimal supervision.
The role includes:
- Managing a portfolio of clients as their dedicated service coordinator.
- Responding to and logging reactive and planned work requests from clients
- Planning and scheduling engineers’ workloads across London and the Southeast while ensuring SLAs are met and accurate information is provided to engineers to enable them to complete works on time and to budget.
- Booking in works with clients, ensuring all relevant paperwork is submitted, dates are confirmed, materials and access equipment is ordered so the works are completed on time
- Submitting job paperwork, quotes and invoices in a timely manner
- Communicating and liaising with clients and engineers via phone and email
- Building relationships with clients and engineers
- Following up on outstanding quotes
- Updating client portals to ensure clients are kept informed every step of the workflow

Mobile Electrician
£42,000-£48,000
We are recruiting for an experienced mobile maintenance and installation electrician for work in commercial buildings, around London and surrounding counties. Working for a small, friendly company providing a high standard of fault finding, maintenance, repair and testing works to a high profile portfolio of sites.
The ideal candidate will be professional, approachable and well presented, communicating effectively with high profile clients, other engineers and the admin team; have solid technical knowledge and have a passion for providing high quality electrical work, with a good knowledge of the regs; have exceptional attention to detail, taking pride in your work and working hard to complete jobs to a high standard; have excellent fault-finding skills, using your experience to diagnose and rectify faults quickly and effectively.
The role includes:
- Travelling to and working at a portfolio of commercial sites across London and the surrounding counties
- PPM & reactive maintenance callouts to commercial buildings
- Surveying for remedial works
- Installation & repair works
- Testing & inspection including EICRs
- Completing paperwork in a timely manner (using our online job tracking software)
- Completing electrical certificates (using EasyCert software)
- Overseeing junior engineers where necessary
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Maintaining a high level of H&S & working knowledge of H&S systems
- Liaising with contractors and end clients in a professional and polite manner, always projecting a positive image of the company.
- Liaising with office staff and clearly communicating works undertaken and next steps to be taken
What we can offer:
- £42,000 – £48,000 basic salary depending on experience (overtime, night work and weekend work also available) and travel is paid door to door in addition to time on site

Essential requirements:
- JIB gold card
- 2391 (or equivalent)
- C&G 2330 Level 3 (or equivalent)
- NVQ Level 3 & AM2
- 18th Edition
- Full clean driving license
- Experience of electrical installation, maintenance and repair in commercial buildings
- EICR experience in commercial buildings
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Able to work independently and on own initiative, self-starter and self-motivated
- Happy to travel across London & surrounding counties – lots of driving will be involved
- Polite, friendly and professional & smart appearance
- Solution focused with a strong work ethic & good timekeeping
- Flexibility to work days, nights or weekends as required
- Minimum of 5 years’ electrical experience after qualification
Preferred skills:
- IPAF
- PASMA
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- First aid qualification
- Asbestos Awareness
- 5+ years testing experience
- EICR experience
- Data experience (Cat5e & Cat6)
- EV charge point experience
- Knowledge of emergency lighting regulations (BS 5266)
- Knowledge of LV panel & switch gear maintenance
